Grilled Lobster with herbs

Grilled Lobster

Ingredients

4 cleaned lobsters

Herbal Oil

75 ml (1/3 cup ) olive oil
30 ml (2 tbsp. ) Chopped fresh basil
30 ml (2 tbsp. ) Chopped fresh chives
15 ml (1 tbsp. ) Chopped fennel leaves
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Salt and pepper

Herb mayonnaise

60 ml (¼ cup ) mayonnaise

30 ml (2 tbsp. ) Lemon juice

30 ml (2 tbsp. ) Chopped fresh basil

30 ml (2 tbsp. ) Chopped fresh chives

15 ml (1 tbsp. ) Chopped fennel leaves

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

2 lemons , halved

Preparation:

Cut the lobster from the middle and remove the intestine.

Preheat barbecue to medium. Oil grill.

Herbal Oil

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Add salt and pepper.

Coat the lobsters with half the herb oil.

Place the lobsters on the grill. Close the lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Crack lobster claws with a lobster claw. Coat the lobsters with the remaining oil. Grill the meat with lemon halves.

 

Herb mayonnaise 

Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix all ingredients  and make herb mayonnaise.

Serve the lobster with herb mayonnaise and grilled lemons.
