About Noreen Fahad, founder and writer of MyBreezyLife UK beauty blog

About Noreen Fahad

I started MyBreezyLife in 2013 because I was tired of searching for beauty and lifestyle content that spoke to my actual life. I am a hijabi Muslim woman in my 40s, living in the UAE and writing for women across the UK — and for most of my searching, the mainstream beauty and fashion internet acted like I did not exist. The skincare advice did not account for wearing a scarf. The fashion content did not consider modesty. The wellness content never acknowledged Ramadan. So I started writing it myself.

Who I am

I am self-taught — no cosmetic science degree, no fashion school qualification. What I have instead is 15+ years of daily experience as a hijab-wearing woman figuring out what actually works. What works for skincare when you have fabric against your face for hours in the heat. What works for modest fashion that does not look like a compromise. What works for staying healthy and balanced around Ramadan, around a busy life, around the specific reality of being a Muslim woman in 2026. That is the expertise behind every article I write.

What MyBreezyLife covers

MyBreezyLife is a UK beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog covering three areas: Beauty and Wellness — skincare routines, halal beauty, ingredient guides, hair care, fragrance and self-care. Fashion — modest fashion for UK women, hijab styling for every occasion, seasonal UK trends and workwear guides. Health and Fitness — healthy halal recipes, Ramadan wellness, women’s fitness and healthy lifestyle content. All of it is written for real UK women — diverse in background, united in wanting content that actually accounts for their lives.

My role on the site

I am the founder and editor of MyBreezyLife. I write articles across all three categories from my own experience. I also oversee a specialist editorial team — every article published on this site, regardless of who writes it, is reviewed by me before it goes live. I take that responsibility seriously. I would not publish anything I would not recommend to a close friend.

The community

Over six years, MyBreezyLife has grown into a community of more than 33,000 women across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and X. That community is the reason I keep writing. The questions they ask, the products they recommend back to me, the messages I get from women who found the answer they needed here — that is what this site is built around. Not traffic numbers. Not algorithms. People.

A personal note

I live in the UAE but I write for the UK. I know what it is like to read content that feels like it was written for someone else’s country, someone else’s climate, someone else’s wardrobe. Every product I recommend is available in the UK. Every price is in pounds. Every seasonal reference is to British weather, not Californian sunshine. That specificity matters — and it is something I have been deliberate about since day one.

Editorial disclosure

MyBreezyLife uses AI-assisted content creation across its editorial team. All content is reviewed and approved by me — Noreen Fahad — before publishing. Where articles contain affiliate links, this is clearly disclosed. Skincare and health content is for general guidance only. I am not a medical professional or a qualified dermatologist — if you have a skin condition or a health concern, please consult your GP.
