Muhammad Ali, well known as “The Greatest” died at the age of 74 at Phoenix-area Hospital, after 32 years long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Ali was a great boxer of all time and famous for his believe in God. He was three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer. He was one of the most recognized famous sports figure of the last century.
His daughter Rasheda said on early Saturday that the legend was “no longer suffering,” she described him as “daddy, my best friend and hero” as well as “the greatest man that ever lived.”

He was born on January 17, 1942 at Louisville, Kentucky, United States. His original name was Cassius Clay, he started training at the age of 12 and won the world heavy weight championship in 196 when he was just 22 years old. He was a former member of Nation of Islam. He changed his name to Muhammad Ali when he joined this community. He converted to Sunni Islam in 1975 and turned into Sufism in 2005.
Ali was married four times and had nine children all together. All his children are well known and become famous on their own.
