Chewbacca Mask – This Star Wars fan Candace Payne‘s is a very devoted fan and her love for Chewbacca is making her a viral star!
On Thursday afternoon (May 19), Candace Payne‘s posted a video on Facebook Live after she bought a Chewbacca mask from her local Kohl’s store for her son.
“I’d like to say that I bought this for my son that would really, really want it. And let’s be honest, he’ll probably confiscate it from me… He’ll probably take it from me. However, this is mine. At the end of the day, this is mine that I bought and I’m going to keep it for my own!” Candace excitedly said to her followers.
After she put on the mask, she opened up her mouth to let the Chewbacca noises come out and she started to hysterically laugh for over a minute and a half!
“That’s not me making that noise, it’s the mask!!!” Candace said.
The Chewbacca mask video she broadcast actually broke all the Facebook records. As of early Saturday, her video was watched almost 91 million times.
While talking with BBC Mrs Payne said that “That’s just crazy,” she told BBC “I’m just laughing – in all honesty, that is ridiculous. I’ve looked at the number of views and it just seems like someone is just playing with a calculator.”
